By downloading, installing, or using Ownwise ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal or business record-keeping purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, decompile, or reverse-engineer the App.
All data you create in the App — item records, photos, values, and documents — is stored only on your device. You are solely responsible for backing up your data using the App's built-in backup/export feature. Uninstalling the App, resetting your device, or losing your device without a prior backup will result in permanent, unrecoverable data loss. The developer has no access to your data and cannot recover it under any circumstances, because no copy exists anywhere outside your device and any destination you personally choose to export a backup to.
Ownwise is a documentation tool. It does not provide insurance, appraisal, valuation, or legal advice. Estimated values you enter are your own inputs, not professional appraisals. Whether an insurer accepts any report generated by the App is entirely at the insurer's discretion. Consult your insurance provider and/or a professional appraiser for coverage and valuation decisions.
The App is free to download with a limited trial. A single one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited items. This purchase is processed by Google Play Billing and is subject to Google Play's refund policies, not a policy set by the developer directly. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges associated with this App.
The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. The developer does not guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including data loss resulting from uninstalling the App without a backup, as described in Section 3.
The developer may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted in the App's release notes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
