Tablune — Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of Tablune ("the app"), a desktop tool for cleaning and preparing CSV files on Windows, developed by Vol.42. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Licence

Vol.42 grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Tablune on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, rent, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it regardless of this restriction.

Price and purchase

• Tablune is distributed through the Microsoft Store.
• It begins with a free trial. The trial's length is set in the Microsoft Store, and the app shows you the exact end date it receives from Windows. Every feature works during the trial.
• A single one-time purchase unlocks the app for good. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no advertising.
• Future updates are included at no further cost.
• The purchase is handled by the Microsoft Store and tied to the account that made it, subject to Microsoft's own terms and refund policy.

Windows, not Vol.42, decides whether your licence is valid. If the trial ends, or if Windows cannot confirm your licence at all, Tablune keeps your work open, viewable and saveable, and a job already running is allowed to finish — only new processing and export wait until the licence is confirmed again. The app never deletes or locks away work you have already done.

What the app does, and what it does not promise

Tablune changes data only on your instruction, and shows you what each step did. Even so, the result is yours to check:

• Your original file is never modified. Tablune works on a copy and writes results only where you tell it to.
• Detection — of encoding, delimiter, headers and column types — is a suggestion based on a sample of your file. You can override any of it, and you should confirm it looks right before relying on a run.
• Cleaning rules apply exactly as configured, which is not always the same as what you meant. Review the run summary and the issue list before using an export for anything that matters.
• Tablune is a data-preparation tool. It does not check your data against any accounting, tax, legal, or regulatory requirement, and it is not a substitute for professional advice about the data itself.
• Keep your own backups. You remain responsible for the source files and the exports you create.

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vol.42 is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including any loss arising from a decision made on the basis of exported or displayed data. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer law of your country.

Your data

Tablune stores its working files on your own device and sends nothing anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

Changes to these Terms

If these Terms change, this page will be updated and the date above revised. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
