These Terms govern your use of INKEY RACK ("the app"), a VST3 instrument rack for pad controllers on Windows, developed by Vol.42. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Vol.42 grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, rent, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it regardless of this restriction.
Sounds you make with the app — recordings, performances, and kits you export — are yours. Vol.42 claims no rights in them.
INKEY RACK hosts VST3 instrument plugins that you have obtained and installed separately. The app includes no instruments or sounds of its own. Each plugin is a separate product with its own licence from its maker; installing, licensing and using it correctly is between you and that maker. INKEY RACK supports 64-bit VST3 plugins only, and cannot load 32-bit plugins or other formats.
Whether a particular plugin works within INKEY RACK depends on that plugin. INKEY RACK tests each one when it scans and leaves out those that fail to load, but cannot guarantee that any given plugin will run, run correctly, or keep running after the plugin or Windows is updated.
The kit export writes files in the format used by the Akai Professional MPC Sample. That format is defined by its maker, not by Vol.42, and may change with the device's firmware. Vol.42 aims to keep up but cannot promise that exported kits will load on every firmware version, present or future.
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vol.42 is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including loss of work, damage to equipment, or hearing injury from excessive volume. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer law of your country.
INKEY RACK stores its settings and your kits on your own device and sends nothing anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for the detail, including what third-party plugins may do on their own.
If these Terms change, this page will be updated and the date above revised. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
